Targeted Vibrational Therapy
This course is an introduction to the use of vibrational and percussive modalities for the therapeutic outcome of Orthopedic/Medical massage to the whole body.
Targeted Vibration Therapy® (TVT) is an innovative application using high-frequency/low amplitude vibration (> 50Hz) to address pain, improve flexibility and enhance overall musculoskeletal health. TVT is the latest revolution in myofascial therapy and is transforming the way professionals promote soft tissue pliability. Vibration Release Techniques™ (VRT) are the art behind Targeted Vibration Therapy (TVT) applications. These methods and protocols instruct users on the best practices to apply TVT for therapeutic effects and optimal outcomes. The concepts and protocols were crafted through years of clinical practice and literature study. They are designed to complement traditional techniques and kinetic activities in order to accelerate movement potential.

- Muscle & connective tissue physiology & anatomy review
- Indications/Contraindications Effects of vibration/percussive therapy
- Treatment protocol on Lower Extremities (Demonstration & Practical Exchange)
- Treatment protocol for Hips & Low Back (Demonstration & Practical Exchange)
- Treatment protocol for Upper Extremities (Demonstration & Practical Exchange with exam)
- Treatment protocol for Neck & Head (Demonstration & Practical Exchange with exam)
This is an 8-hour CEU course with hands-on training approved by NCBTMB, instructed by Advanced Bodywork Massage & Education
This course creates a framework for the use of high-frequency vibration to fast-track success in addressing musculoskeletal ailments in addition to accelerating improvements in range of motion and flexibility. Upon completion, professionals will be awarded a certificate of completion.
Class time is 8:30AM - 5:30PM.
