About Us
At LMT Success Group, we are also massage therapists. Our faculty, staff and independent teachers have experience in all aspects of massage therapy including running successful clinics and spas, working with athletes and private clients and working for luxury spas and medical offices. We know firsthand what it is like to build a career as a massage therapist. We have had successes in the field that we want to share with you to make your career as a massage therapist fulfilling and lucrative.
The LMT Success Group was founded in 1986 with the mission of helping other massage therapists to achieve long term and prosperous careers in massage. Our company director, Paul Kirchhoff, who was a massage school instructor at the time, discovered that business education in massage schools left much to be desired. He also noticed that many of the schools' graduates were not working to their level of expectations, and some of them, although very talented, had dropped out of the profession entirely. Realizing that business and marketing skills are completely different from technical massage skills, but just as important, Paul began teaching Marketing classes locally. These classes grew into our
WorkSmart Series which soon grew to a national schedule.
Over the years classes we have watched industry trends and anticipated the continuing education needs of massage therapists. We encompass teaching techniques that maximize income while minimizing time expenditure. Recognizing the trend towards Medical Massage, the company recruited some of the most successful practitioners in the country and developed a Medical Massage Practitioner Program that is one of the largest and most respected in the industry. We followed suit with other programs including Chair Massage, Massage Parties and a Spa Training program. The company then developed a product line of books, software, manuals and videos to support each program. LMT Success Group continues to be on the cutting edge offering innovative programs teaching such sought after classes as Arthrossage, Lypossage, Lymphatic Drainage and NMT for TMJ.
Massage therapists are a fun and adventurous group of people, so of course it was a natural fit to offer Education Vacations. We were the premiere massage therapy continuing education provider to offer Seminars at Sea and we have since expanded our Adventure Learning opportunities to include classes in Costa Rica and our ever popular Las Vegas Success School.
Today the LMT Success Group is the largest provider of continuing education for massage therapists in Florida, and one of the largest in the world. We have trained well over 25,000 massage therapists, many of whom swear by our classes as the most valuable they have taken in their careers.
Our Credentials
Most states require Massage Therapy Continuing Education providers to be NCBTMB approved. We are approved by the NCBTMB, Provider #450001-05, to provide continuing education to massage therapists on a national level.
Our CE Broker Provider Number is 50-11423. We report CE's for Florida and Georgia students.
In every state that we offer classes in, the class is approved for that state. Different states have different CE requirements and restrictions as to what is approved for CE's. If you travel to a different state to take classes, please be sure to check with your board to make sure the classes are approved in your state.
