Cancellation Policy

  • For Classes:  If it is necessary for LMTSG to cancel a class, the student may choose to receive a refund or a class credit for the amount of tuition paid. If it is necessary for the student to cancel a class more than thirty days prior to the seminar, the student may receive a refund or a class credit. If the student cancels thirty days or less prior to the seminar, all amounts paid are credited toward a future class. Students may transfer a class up to two times without charge. After that, an administrative fee of $25 will apply. Class transfers are not eligible for refunds. 
     
  • For Cruises:  Cancellation of a cruise is conditioned by the terms of the cruise line. All classes are part of a travel package. There are no refunds or credits for classes.  
     
  • For Costa Rica: A $500 per person *non-refundable deposit will hold a student and/or guest's place in the class and accommodation selected, if available, based on a first-come, first-served basis. (*If a cancelation must be made, the deposit amount will be held as a course credit to be used at any LMT Success Group US-based class or a future Pura Vida event offered by LMT Success Group.) Final payment is due 60 days prior to the event. Any funds collected, aside from the deposit, are fully refundable up until 60 days prior to the event. For cancellations less than sixty days prior to the commencement of the event, all funds become non-refundable and the participant is eligible for course credit toward a future LMT Success Group-sponsored event at Pura Vida Retreat and Spa only. For trips not paid in full forty-five days prior to the start of the event, all monies paid to LMT Success Group to be applied to a future LMT Success Group event at Pura Vida Costa Rica and any room preferences and course selections may be forfeited. All cancelation and transfer requests must be made in writing to LMT Success Group's student services department. Pura Vida course credits are not refundable and are only good for a future LMTSG Pura Vida event. 
     
  • For Renewal Year Special Classes: The spaces that are available in these classes are limited. Should a student wish to cancel a class, they may do so more than 30 days prior to the start of the class and request a refund, minus a $75 administrative fee. If a student wishes to cancel a class thirty days or less prior to the start date of the class, no refunds will be given, however, they will be provided a course credit for the amount of tuition paid. 
     
  • For Webinar Format Classes: Webinars are non-refundable however students may transfer their webinar enrollment to another live webinar or apply their credit to an in-person US-based class of equal value or pay the difference.
     
  • For Placement at a Special Event or Purchases Made on Your Behalf:  Should LMT Success Group make a payment on behalf of a student for items including but not limited to massage table rental, special events such as a place on the High Roller, special lunch or dinner events or other special group excursions, and the student is not able to attend to chooses to cancel after payment has been made, said amount paid on student's behalf is non-refundable.
     
  • For Emergency Situations/Force Majeure: For US-based classes, should an unforeseen event such as severe weather conditions including but not limited to a hurricane, earthquake, flash flood, tornado, etc. or should a local, state, federal, or public health emergency occur that limits our ability to legally and safely provide a class, then the class will be postponed to a later date and the student may enroll in the postponed class or receive a credit to take any other US-based class offered by LMTSG. For Seminars at Sea, the emergency clause of the cruise line will prevail. When possible, the event will be re-routed or a "lift and shift" to a different date or port may be offered. Classes are part of a travel package. No course refunds are available. Costa Rica education vacations will transfer to a future LMTSG Pura Vida event. The emergency situation clause supersedes other policies. 
     
  • For All: All cancellation notifications must be made via email or in writing, to take effect on the date they are received by LMTSG. Emails will be acknowledged within five business days of receipt. Credits expire one year from the time they are issued. Course transfers are not eligible for refunds. All refunds will be made to the person or entity that made the initial payment. The customer agrees not to dispute charges for a class that they have attended or purchased and did not attend or canceled but is not eligible for a refund according to the terms of this policy.  The customer agrees to the terms of this policy and agrees to follow the cancellation procedures listed above. 
     

Pricing

Advertised pricing is subject to change. Room blocks at events and cruise fares are subject to availability and expire prior to the event. 

 

Minimums

We must reach a minimum number of attendees in order for us to be able to go forward with any class. If we do not meet our minimum we will advise students at least three weeks in advance of the class via email and/or by the phone number provided at registration. We accept no responsibility for the costs associated with a class cancellation. Also, see the terms of the Cancellation Policy for Classes.

 

Class Locations

From time to time it is necessary to change a class location. Should this occur, we will provide you with as much advance notice as possible. We accept no responsibility for costs associated with the location change.

 

Credentials

LMT Success Group is an education company that provides continuing education services primarily, but not limited to massage therapists located in the United States. All classes offered are approved by the NCBTMB for national hours. Each state's board has its own requirements. It is the student's responsibility to be aware of and follow the rules of their governing board. 

 

Class Reviews

After a student has taken a class, they may review the same class tuition-free for up to a year from the date that they first took the class, if space allows. No additional continuing education credits will be granted for review classes. Student is expected to bring their original course materials to the review class. Free review offer expires on January 1, 2024.

What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you enroll in classes on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, or respond to a survey.  When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, email address, mailing and billing address, phone number, and credit card information. All credit card information is transmitted online via secured settings and is processed by a trusted third-party payment processor. In compliance with PCI standards, we do not retain any credit card data. An IP address is collected. That is the address assigned to your computer by your Internet Service Provider. Voluntary information as to preferences may also be collected.

What do we use your information for?

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

To process transactions
Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service or for communications related to the transaction requested.

To send periodic emails
The email address you provide for order processing, will only be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order.  Please CLICK HERE to sign up for our email news letter.

 

To send informational emails

The email address you provide to opt in to our mailing list will be used to send newsletters, blog posts, advise you of dates and locations of upcoming classes, special offers, promotions and other marketing materials. From time to time we may send a special offer from an affiliate partner.


How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

Do we use cookies?

We do not use cookies.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.

As part of the California Online Privacy Protection Act, all users of our site may make any changes to their information at anytime by logging into their control panel and going to the 'My Account' page. You may also opt for a Guest Checkout.

Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.

From time to time we take photos in class that may be used on social media, digital media, marketing and promotions. Should you not wish to be in photos, please let your teacher know during the time of class.
