Alaska Cruise - May 2024

Alaska Cruise - May 2024

Everyone loves our Alaskan Cruise!

Our room block for the Alaska Cruise is sold out. Cabins are only available at Royal Caribbean's prevailing rate. Also, we are maxed out on the number of massage tables that we can bring. Unfortunately, this event is only open to students who can bring a massage table with them on the ship.

If you can't make it this year, don't worry, we will do it again in 2025!

We only offer this seminar at sea once a year and it always sells out, and for good reason. It is amazing! So please start planning now so that you can go with us on this unforgettable Alaskan adventure.  There are some must-visit ports of call on this sailing including some nighttime ports.  If you have never experienced an Alaska cruise, then you will definitely want to join us in the "land of the midnight sun" where you need every minute of daylight if you want to experience it all. From the awe-inspiring blue ice of a massive glacial field to the expansive grandeur of its wildlife and nature, everything that Alaska has to offer is bigger, including the adventures! Come along with us on this 8-day, 7-night cruise! Our ship sets sail on May 13, 2024, and returns to port in Seattle, WA on May 20, 2024.

Ship Amenities

We will set sail on Royal Caribbean's stunning Quantum Class ship,  The Quantum of the Seas. Onboard you will be able to enjoy dramatic views through walls of glass and a retractable canopy,  swim at indoor and outdoor pools, or soak in one of the whirlpools.  Of course, there are luxurious spa and fitness facilities, bars, lounges and eateries, and entertainment that you expect from a Royal Caribbean Cruise. This ship also offers "Ripcord by iFly" where you can simulate skydiving. You can get a 360-degree view from 300 feet above sea level on the "North Star" which has won the Guinness Worl Record for the tallest viewing deck on a cruise ship. This ship has bumper cars and a surf simulator and a bionic bar.

Ports of Call and Excursions

Your cruise will begin in the sophisticated yet laid-back city of Seattle, nestled between two majestic mountain ranges. While you are there, make sure to get a birds-eye view of the city on the famous Space Needle. You can also stroll through beautiful botanical gardens or wander around Pike Place Market. Did you know there was an underground tour where you can learn about the history of the gold rush and how it shaped Seattle?

First on the itinerary is Sitka, Alaska which is a small port that is big on wilderness and native culture. Sometimes whales can even be seen from the shore. While there, be sure to check out the Fortress of the Bear or the Alaska Raptor Center. There is great hiking at the National Park. Stroll through this small Alaskan fishing town, meet the locals, do some shopping and learn more about life in Alaska.

Next up is a stop in Skagway, Alaska where you can go hiking or on an amazing zip line adventure. Maybe you want to try your luck at panning for gold. Oh, and there is a steam train.  And of course, let's not forget about the dungeonous crab or freshest wild-caught salmon you can imagine. Be sure to wash down the local cuisine at the Skagway Brewing Company or the Red Onion Saloon.

From here our ship drifts through the Endicott Arm Fjord to get a front-row view of the breathtaking Dawes Glacier.  See it while you can! Then on to Juneau, Alaska where you can join a team of pro mushers and their huskies on a sleigh ride over the snow or you can pan for gold along the same trails forged by prospectors over a hundred years ago. This is your opportunity for a helicopter tour or you might decide to go fishing, just for the halibut! Try the Alaska Amber while you are there.

Your final port is in the gorgeous city of Victoria on British Columbia's Vancouver Island. Here, tour one of their award-winning vineyards or microbreweries and sample amazingly fresh seafood, or perhaps Victorian afternoon tea and finger sandwiches are more your style. Stroll down the boat-lined harbor while you marvel at the architecture. Make sure to check out Thunderbird Park's totem poles or go for a Chinese Lantern walk.

There are no classes during the hours that you are in port, leaving your whole day free for adventures and fun. You will just love the excursion options!
