Lypossage

Lypossage

The most profitable service performed at many day spas is now available for you to learn.  Lypossage is a non-invasive clinically proven massage technique that uses proprietary techniques to help your clients smooth their skin, flush toxins from their system, and actually improve their body shape. A 1999 study done with 100 women showed an average inch loss of six inches or more.

Lypossage is the most respected body contouring technique offered in the United States and has been approved for both Florida and National CEU's. This technique boasts the best return on investment in the business, as this is a progressive massage program that requires up to 18 sessions for completion. At fees ranging from $85 to $100 for each half-hour session, just one client can more than triple your initial class investment. And there are plenty of clients to choose from.

All Lypossage classes provide intensive hands-on training. Students are provided with written instruction and marketing direction and support. Lypossage can only be performed by a certified Lypossage therapist. Be one of the first therapists in your area to offer this much in-demand service!

This course is broken down into three zones:

Woman examining buttocks for cellulite

Zone 1:  Includes the hips, thighs, buttocks and abdomen. In this section, you will learn to diminish the appearance of cellulite, improve muscle and skin tone of the thighs, buttocks, hips and lower abdomen. Your client's posture and structure will improve and dimension loss is typical.

Woman noticing back of arm

Zone 2: This session targets the upper abdomen, back, neck and arms. You will learn skills to address your client's posture and improve lymphatic flow while helping to tone problematic areas.

Woman looking at texture of her own neck and face

Zone 3: You will learn a protocol to address the head, face and neck. You will learn to dramatically reduce the appearance of wrinkles and sagging skin and improve skin tone and texture using natural face lifting techniques.

All students must be licensed, certified, authorized, or otherwise credentialed to provide hands-on, manual therapy services in the state where they practice. All of our classes are approved by NCBTMB for CE hours. Most states accept NCBTMB hours. Some states may have different requirements or definitions of what is considered to be within the "Scope of Practice" for a massage therapist. If in doubt, please check with your state's Board of Massage. In some instances, advanced-level courses may have additional prerequisites that will be noted in the course description.

CLASS SIZES

All of our classes have minimum and maximum enrollments that can be accepted. If a class is getting close to being full, we may close online enrollment. If a class is closed online, you may still call us at #800-201-2247 to see if there are any additional spaces or to go on a waiting list. If you want to go, let us know!  On rare occasions, we do not meet the minimum number of enrollees or an unexpected situation occurs and we need to cancel or reschedule a class. Please confirm that your class will be going forward prior to making any non-refundable travel arrangements.

STAYING OVERNIGHT?

Aside from special events such as Success School and Education Vacations, we do not typically arrange sleeping rooms at our host hotels for weekend classes. If a room rate is not specifically noted in the class description below, please check your favorite discount travel website (hotels.com, trivago.com, expedia.com, tripadvisor.com, etc.) to see if better rates are available at the host hotel. Oftentimes the rates on travel websites are lower than what we are able to negotiate and our room block rates, if available, are subject to expiration. If a class location is not already listed, it will be added to this page as soon as it has been finalized. Enrolled students will receive an email reminder one week prior to the class with the location.
