The lymphatic system is the body’s waste disposal. It’s job, in part, is to remove bacteria, cell debris, excess water, proteins and wastes from the connective tissue to stop the tissues from puffing up, thereby keeping a balance of fluid in the body. The lymphatic system is part of the body’s circulatory system and a vital part of the body’s immune system. It is said that if your body’s lymphatic system shuts down, you will be dead within 24-48 hours. It plays that important of a function in the body! So, in a nutshell, here is how it works:

Tax Tip for 2013

There have been TWO major changes in the tax law concerning home offices, one relatively recent (in the last 15 years), and another very recent one that will affect your 2013 return. The older ruling took effect in 1999 and changed the qualification criteria for a home office. This ruling was fought all the way to the Supreme Court and caused a momentous change. It is very tax-payer friendly and particularly so for massage therapists. Is it easier? Absolutely! Simpler? For sure! Better? Not so fast!
