The online home study hours are already included with the Florida Renewal Special classes. You will receive an email with instructions on how to complete these hours after you have completed the attendance check for your live class.
Special Alumni Discount! If you completed a full LMTSG program between September 1, 2025 and August 31, 2027, that is not part of the Florida Renewal Package, but you are still entitled to an additional discount. An email was sent to you at the time of your course completion. If you are not able to find your discount code, please reach out to our student services department to request it be resent.
This package is available to ALL Florida Licensed Massage Therapists at the already discounted rate whether you have taken hands-on classes with us or not. Because of our volume, we have negotiated a discounted price for these hours that we have passed on to you.

FAQS ABOUT FLORIDA MASSAGE THERAPY LICENSE RENEWAL:
When is the deadline to renew your Florida Massage License? The last day to renew your license for the current licensing period is August 31, 2027 at midnight. (Yes, you can take a CE class up until and on August 31, 2027 and still have it reported on time for renewal.)
How do I renew my Florida License? The State of Florida has mailed out notices to all licensed therapists with information on how to renew your license. A CE Provider cannot renew your license for you. You must renew your license yourself. Please follow this link to the State of Florida Medical Quality Assistance website where you can renew your massage license after you have completed all of your massage CE Hours. Once you login you will select massage license renewal. If your CE hours have been completed and reported, you will not need to take any additional steps. In the event that you need to self report, you may do so here.
What CE hours do I need to renew? This will vary slightly based on how long you have been a massage therapist (is this your first renewal?) and the status of your license (is it active or inactive.) Please check with the State of Florida if this is your first renewal or if you have a delinquent license or for more information. Most therapists will need the following hours:
- 12 classroom hours focused on Massage Techniques, Skills and Protocols;
- 2 hours of Medical Errors;
- 2 hours of Florida Law;
- 2 hours of Professional Ethics;
- 5 hours of General Instruction; and
- 1 hour in Human Trafficking Awareness.
Do I need to report my hours to CE Broker? For Florida approved classes, your CE provider should be reporting your hours for you. (We report to CE Broker based on the license number you provide. We do our due diligence to look it up if a license number is not provided. If you have an address outside of Florida but still maintain a Florida license and have taken classes with us, please contact our Student Services Department.
Please contact CE Broker directly if you are in doubt as to whether your hours have been reported. It is not necessary to pay for this service. As we get closer to renewal they will get busy. You may wish to try the chat feature on their page.
What about fingerprinting? Background screenings, including fingerprinting and retaining fingerprints on file, are required by the State of Florida Board of Massage. It depends on when you first became a massage therapist as to when your fingerprints will be due for renewal or retention. Please visit the State of Florida’s webpage to find out more about background screening. Most therapists have already completed this process and will only need to retain their fingerprints every five years. Click this link for Fingerprint Retention information. What happens if I miss the renewal? It is not an ideal situation, but it happens sometimes. You will first be placed on a “delinquent” status and you will have to pay a fee and comply with renewal requirements within the prescribed timeline to be reactivated. If not reactivated within a timely manner you will risk your Florida Massage License becoming “Null and Void.” It is illegal to practice massage in the State of Florida without a valid license.
