Arthrossage: An Introduction to Arthritis/Inflammation-Specific Massage
This one-day intensive course takes the key concepts from our more intensive Arthrossage class and provides massage therapists with the foundational knowledge and skills to effectively address the needs of clients with arthritis. Unlike traditional massage, Arthrossage is a clothing-on technique focused on increasing flexibility, lubricating joints, and lengthening muscles.
Course Objectives:
- Understand the different types of rheumatic diseases, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and fibromyalgia.
- Learn about the autoimmune process and its impact on the body.
- Master essential intake and assessment techniques for clients with arthritis.
- Develop proficiency in myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and other manual techniques for arthritis management.
