Southern Caribbean Cruise - October 2021

Southern Caribbean Cruise - October 2021

EIGHT NIGHT IN PARADISE! LIFE IS GOOD!

This cruise is a game changer!  We will be setting sail on an eight-night cruise on Royal Caribbean's Independence of the Seas This is going to be an unforgettable experience on an extraordinary ship setting sail to must-see ports of call. We depart from Miami, FL with ports of call at Royal Caribbean's exclusive private island in Labadee, Haiti and then on to Willemstad, Curacoa and Oranjestad, Aruba. This ship sets sail on Saturday, October 23, 2021, and returns on Sunday, October 31, 2021.

Ports of Call

The ship departs from the "Magic City" - Miami, Florida.  Talk about fun in the sun! Plan to spend a night out in South Beach and make sure you check out Coconut Grove. You may want to sip on a cafecito in Little Havana or do some kayaking on the Oleta River. There are plenty of museums and Art Deco architecture to keep you busy for days!

The first stop is Labadee, Haiti. This is Royal Caribbean's private island, exclusive to RC cruise guests only. You can get off the ship and walk right to a private beach. There are beach chairs already set up for you so grab a floating mat, sip on a Labodoozie (Labadee's signature drink) and enjoy the day. If you are more of a thrill-seeker, check out the Dragon's Breath Flight Line, the world's longest zip line over water, or check out some great views while coasting down a mountain on the Dragon Tail Coaster. Be sure to bargain with the locals and bring home some souvenirs and enjoy some local cuisine compliments of Royal Caribbean. This is a great stop!

The next port is in Oranjestad, Aruba. This area is known for it's bright, colorful Dutch Colonial "gingerbread" homes and it's beautiful beaches. Explore the area by hopping on one of the free trolleys that run in a loop from the port to the downtown area. You can pick up some traditional Dutch items while you are there. You may want to visit the California lighthouse where, from 100 feet, you can enjoy panoramic views, or maybe instead you will opt for a ride on a high-tech submarine 150 feet below the surface.

The final port of call is Willemstad, Curacao. Definitely bring your camera if you go for a tour. You may want to stop at Shete Boka Park to see the waves break so high that they look like a geyser. There are caverns to explore and beach adventures to be had. Make sure to sample the local cuisine and check out some of the local arts and crafts while you are there.

When not at the port, you will keep busy by enhancing your professional skills with your choice of highly-rated massage continuing education classes.  Don't worry, there will still be plenty of free time for you to relax and enjoy the cruise

We wrap our classes around the time that you are at port, so you will have plenty of free time for adventures and fun without worrying about missing out on the great classes we offer.

Course Offerings

In between ports of call, you can spend some of your free time meeting other amazing massage therapists (and getting a little bodywork yourself) while you earn the massage continuing credit hours that you need for license renewal. You will learn some great skills that you can immediately incorporate into your practice. The best part is, ALL CLASSES ARE INCLUDED as part of our cruise package.
