Medical Massage Practitioner Program
The Medical Massage Practitioner Program is specifically designed to allow the professional massage therapist to confidently and profitably work within the medical community, enjoying an exceptional income, low marketing costs and a massage practice with tremendous satisfaction. A Certified Medical Massage Practitioner standing is awarded after completion of the following six courses. We maintain a small student to teacher ratio so that we are able to work hand in hand with our students so they are able to achieve a mastery of the course objectives. No examinations are required. No renewals are necessary.
- Insurance Billing - This course allows the student to learn from the experts in massage therapy reimbursement some proven strategies for getting insurance to pay you for your services quickly and in full. Included is a comprehensive manual that takes you step-by-step through the insurance billing process and covers everything you need to know to get started.
- Day of the Neck - In this hands-on class you will learn to assess and treat major pain complaints such as whiplash, torticollis, cervical strain, R.O.M. limitations and much more.
- Day of the Back - In this hands-on class you will learn to assess and treat major pain complaints such as lumbago, pelvic tilt, post-op back surgery, sciatica and much more.
- Posture and Pain - In this fast-paced class, you will learn about postural distortions from the serious (such as Scoliosis, Lordosis, Kyphosis) to the everyday distortions that cause subtle but lingering pain. You will learn about how and why massage therapy works to treat these conditions.
- Upper Extremity - Learn specific techniques to address and correct postural misalignments and treat conditions of the upper extremity including frozen shoulder, rotator cuff strain, tennis elbow, and much more.
- Lower Extremity - Learn specific techniques to address and correct postural misalignments and treat conditions of the lower extremity including shin splints, chondromalacia, plantar fascitis and much more.
By selecting this option, you are enrolling in the Medical Massage Practitioner Program which is inclusive of each of the above-listed classes.
You also have the option of taking the Professional Level Series, the Masters Level Series or any of the above classes individually. You may take the classes in any order and at more than one location if you wish. Once you have completed all six classes, you will be eligible to receive your Certificate of Completion of the Medical Massage Practitioner Program.
Days and Times
This series typically takes place over the course of two separate weekends, on Saturdays from 8am-8pm and on Sundays from 8:30am-5pm.
This series is also offered at Las Vegas Success School, on our Costa Rica Education Vacations and on Seminars at Sea. Days and times will vary based on the event.
CE's
Insurance Billing offers 4 non-contact massage therapy continuing credit hours. Posture and Pain offers 4 contact hour massage continuing education hours. The Day of the Neck, Day of the Back, Upper Extremity and Lower Exremity classes each offer 8 contact hours for a total of 40 hours for the series.

Webinar - Medical Massage Practitioner - August 26-28, 2022 and September 16-18, 2022 This series of classes is scheduled to take place over two weekends, on Friday from 1-5pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 8:30am-5pm Central Time. You must have an internet-connected device to attend this webinar. We strongly suggest having a person available during the course to practice hands-on protocols on.
