This series of classes consists of two of the classes in our Medical Massage Practitioner Program. The Medical Massage Program is specifically designed to allow the professional massage therapist to confidently and profitably work without the medical community, enjoying an exceptional income, low marketing costs and a massage practice with tremendous satisfaction. (Upon completion of all six classes, the participant will be awarded a Certificate of Completion of the Medical Massage Practitioner Program.)

This series is offered in a single-day format allowing you the convenience to earn 12 continuing education hours in one day! This series includes the following courses:

 

  • Posture and Pain -  In this fast-paced class, you will learn about postural distortions from the serious (such as Scoliosis, Lordosis, Kyphosis) to the everyday distortions that cause subtle but lingering pain. You will learn about how and why massage therapy works to treat these conditions.
     
  • Upper Extremity - Learn specific techniques to address and correct postural misalignments and treat conditions of the upper extremity including frozen shoulder, rotator cuff strain, tennis elbow, and much more.

 

This series includes two of the six classes that is make up the Medical Massage Practitioner Program. This class is part of our Masters Level Series. Discounted pricing is available when enrolling in multiple classes in this program at the same time.

Days and Times

This series typically takes place on a Saturday from 8am - 8:30pm.

This series is also offered at Las Vegas Success School,on our Costa Rica Education Vacations and on various Seminars at Sea. Days and times may vary based on the event.

 

CE's

This series offers 12 live, contact hour massage continuing education credit hours.

HOW TO ENROLL

You may enroll in courses online by selecting the date and location of the class(es) you wish to take and click on the "Enroll Now" button below to place item(s) in your shopping cart. All online payments are processed through a secured server. If you wish to enroll over the phone or if you have any additional questions, please contact us at #800-201-2247.

 

YOU ARE PROTECTED!

If you enroll in a class and for some reason you are unable to make it, don't worry, you are covered. If you cancel more than 30 days prior to the start of the class, you can get a refund of your tuition. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to the scheduled class, you will still receive a credit to take the same class at a later time. You can also take a different class at a different location. Please see our cancellation policy for more details. 

 

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR FLORIDA THERAPIST SPECIAL

The spaces that are available in the Florida renewal year classes are limited. Should an enrollee wish to cancel a class, they may do so within 30 days prior to the start of the class and request a refund, minus a $75 administrative fee. If an enrollee wishes to cancel a class within the thirty days prior to the start date of the class, no refunds will be given, however, they will be provided a course credit to be used toward another course. Course credits will expire after 1 year from the time they are provided.

DIGITAL FORMAT

All course materials will be provided in a digital format. About a week prior to your class, you will receive an email with credentials to log in to your student portal. You will be able to check in to your course online, view, download, or print your manual prior to the time of class, submit your course evaluation and download your Certificate of Completion, right from your portal page! Even after your class is over you will still have access to your course materials. Please have an internet-enabled device with you at the time of class. It's a super and convenient process.

CLASS SIZES

All of our classes have minimum and maximum enrollments that can be accepted. If a class is getting close to being full, we may close online enrollment. If a class is closed online, you may still call us at #800-201-2247 to see if there are any additional spaces or to go on a waiting list. If you want to go, let us know!  On rare occasions, we do not meet the minimum number of enrollees or an unexpected situation occurs and we need to cancel or reschedule a class. Please confirm that your class will be going forward prior to making any non-refundable travel arrangements. 

STAYING OVERNIGHT?

Aside from special events such as Success School and Education Vacations, we do not typically arrange sleeping rooms at our host hotels for weekend classes. If a room rate is not specifically noted in the class description below, please check your favorite discount travel website (hotels.com, trivago.com, expedia.com, tripadvisor.com, etc.) to see if better rates are available at the host hotel. Oftentimes the rates on travel websites are lower than what we are able to negotiate and our room block rates, if available, are subject to expiration. If a class location is not already listed, it will be added to this page as soon as it has been finalized. Enrolled students will receive an email reminder one week prior to the class with the location.
