Arthrossage Certification

Course Description

One in six Americans suffers from arthritis, yet very few therapists have the skill and credentials to treat it. In this course you will learn medical massage procedures for Arthritis Intervention and Treatment.

• You will learn specific protocols showing you how to effectively treat arthritis which will allow you to create a steady clientele forever!
• A variety of eastern and western techniques will be discussed including the latest information from the medical community, providing the massage professional with the skills necessary to aid in the treatment of clients with Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia.
• You will learn to work with commonly affected joints and then put together what you have learned into a full body treatment, allowing you to walk out the door with the skills necessary to provide a full Arthrossage service.
• Body mechanics and self-care for the therapist will also be discussed.

Note: This class is an adjunct to, but NOT required as part of the Medical Massage Practitioner Certification Program.
