Alaska Cruise - June 2013

Everyone loves our Alaskan Cruise!

We only offer this seminar at sea once a year and it always sells out, so please start planning now so that you can go with us on this awesome Alaskan adventure.  Join us in the "land of the midnight sun" where you need every minute of daylight if you want to experience it all. From the awe-inspiring blue ice of a massive glacial field, to the expansive grandeur of its wildlife and nature, everything that Alaska has to offer is bigger, including the adventures! We want you to come with us this year! Our ship sets sail on June 14, 2013 and returns to port in Seattle, WA on June 21, 2013.

Course Offerings

While we are at sea, you can earn as many as 20 massage therapy continuing education hours from some of the finest Massage Therapy instructors in the world!  You may complete the Professional Level of our acclaimed Medical Massage Certification Program.  We are offering popular classes from our WorkSmart Business Series, including the LMT Tax Workshop, Massage Parties, or you can learn hundreds of practice building ideas in the Marketing Massage Workshop. We have noted instructor, Jesse MacLean, teaching a 12-CE Massage Cupping course, where you will learn how to use massage cups to produce a negative pressure allowing deep work with no strain on your hands and wrists.

Ship Amenities

We will set sail on Royal Caribbean's stunning Vision Class ship, "The Rhapsody of the Seas."  On board you will be able to enjoy dramatic views through walls of glass and a retractable canopy,  swim in indoor and outdoor pools or soak in one of the whirlpools.  Of course, there are luxurious spa and fitness facilities, bars, lounges and eateries, entertainment, a rock climbing wall, and so much more!   

Ports of Call and Excursions

Your cruise will begin in the sophisticated yet laid back city of Seattle, nestled between two majestic mountain ranges.  From here we travel to the capital city of Juneau, known for it's spectacular scenery.  Next on the itinerary is Skagway, founded during the gold rush of 1898.  Here you can ride the world famous Yukon Railroad or take a helicopter ride over gigantic glacial fields. Your cruise then winds its way through the Tracy Arm Fjord, a narrow pass through 3000 foot granite walls spotted with numerous waterfalls caused by melting snow caps.  Your final port is in the gorgeous city of Victoria on British Columbia's Vancouver Island. Here, tour one of their award winning vineyards or microbreweries and sample amazingly fresh seafood.   On this adventure, you can drive a dog sled across a breathtaking glacier.  Hike through ancient rain forests where you will view eagles, spectacular wildflowers and gorgeous mountain scenery.  There are no classes during the hours that you are in port, leaving your whole day free for adventures and fun. You will just love the excursion options!

Sailing Itinerary/Class Schedule

*The Day of the Neck is held in 2 parts for a total of 8 credits. Massage Cupping is held in 2 parts for a total of 12 credits.
The Professional Level Series is not combinable with the Massage Cupping Series.
Students enrolled in departure day classes may board as early as 11:30am
The ship departs from Seattle, WA on June 14, 2013 at 4:00pm and returns on June 21, 2013 at 7:00am
