Course Description
Are you frustrated by the high price ($1,000 +) for a lymphatic drainage certification? The LMT Success Group has put together a succinct and affordable two-day continuing education certification program that will give you the knowledge and ability to immediately incorporate manual lymphatic drainage into your practice. This class is geared specifically to the massage professional and deals strictly with manual lymphatic drainage. In an effort to make this class more accessible, decongestive therapies such as measuring, wrapping and bandaging are not included in the curriculum, nor is wound care. You will, however, leave the class with very powerful skills in the field of manual lymphatic drainage that can be used independently to treat a lymphademic client or incorporated into your current routine. Even deep tissue work can be made more effective and easier on the massage therapist.

Day 1 - Provides an overview of the lymphatic system, theory of manual lymphatic drainage and you will learn lymphatic drainage procedures for the face, neck and upper body.
- Day 2 - Covers lymphatic drainage to the torso and limbs and consists of a hands-on review of the full body techniques. You will learn to incorporate lymphatic procedures into your standard massage routine and view a demo of a lymphatic procedure on the face resulting in a natural facelift.
Lymphatic drainage is a lucrative field and is in high demand as a preventative health care measure and presents a great opportunity for working with doctors in a variety of pre- and post-surgical procedures.
Note: This class is an adjunct to, but NOT required as part of the Medical Massage Certification Program.
